A chubby, sunshine-yellow kitty pranced around the playground, blowing bubbles of all sizes. Soon enough, the school's furry friends joined in on the bubbly action. I was ecstatic, blowing bubbles left and right, spreading joy all day long. The kids couldn't get enough of those magical orbs, chasing them around and giggling like there was no tomorrow. Even the grown-ups paused to admire the beauty of the floating spheres. As the day went on, more and more kids joined in on the fun, trying to catch and pop the bubbles with their noses or by hand. It was a sight to behold, the playground brimming with pure joy and wonder. Two little girls who are cousins, named Nikki and Trini are visiting at their grandmothers house. Their grandmother “g’mom” has four pet cats. G’mom plays a game with the kids to see if they can find all the cats. They find the cats one by one and learn their names. G’mom shares that she grew up being afraid of cats and she wants to make sure that her grandchildren know and love cats.

This book is about a family of four, a mom, a dad and a girl that is 9 and a boy that is 7. The story starts with the dad asking the kids if they remember the day that he got hurt at work. He is sitting on the couch and the children are sitting next to him. He then explains that he was hurt and ended up with a traumatic brain injury which is just a fancy way of saying his brain got hurt and needed time to heal again. He explains different symptoms to the children and that even though he gets mad and sad at times that it is not their fault. He loves them very much and needs them to be strong for their mom. Together they will all heal in time and he is sorry that it gets confusing at times. But he wants them to know he loves them no matter what happens.
