His wish was granted On his way home, he touched rocks and plants and they turned into gold. As he reached home, in excitement he hugged his daughter, who turned into gold. There was a frog named Sammy. Sammy was a happy frog, he loved to splash in his little pond and swim around. His friend, Flipp the Duck, was his best friend. They lived together in their little pond. Sammy hopped around and Flipp paddled through the water. They played hard all day splashing around and then slept on the sandy bank. One day Sammy brought up the fact that they hadn’t gotten rain for a while. Flipp agreed but they shrugged it off and continued to play. They continued to think to themselves that it would rain but after a week they still hadn’t gotten rain. Their pond began to dry up. One day Sammy and Flipp woke up and when they walked down to their pond excited to play, they were met with a dry hole. What was once their pond was now a giant muddy hole. Sammy couldn’t believe it “what are we going to do without a pond?” he muttered. Flipp began to say, “maybe it will rain and then it will fill back up”. Sammy agreed and he and Flipp sat in their muddy hole waiting for even the slightest drop of rain. Days passed without any rain the days were filled with boredom, Sammy began to ask, “will it ever rain?” Flipp responded “it will one day we just have to be patient”. One day while Flipp was curled up and Sammy was staring at the sky, Sammy felt a small drop on his forehead. “Flipp get up I felt a drop!” he screamed, Flipp perked up and looked at the sky more drops began to fall. They both stood up and started leaping with joy as it began to rain harder and harder. They watched as their pond slowly filled back up Sammy yelled “cannon ball!” and jumped in, Flipp watched and couldn’t wait any longer and then he splashed into their pond. They both splashed each other as the rain began to fall even harder. Every day they would play in their pond, and it continued to rain every day for them and they never had to worry about a dry pond again.

A chorus of cheers erupted as Micha, Christian, Peter, Abigail, Avisena, and Alvaro rushed toward the cozy corner filled with books. The shelves were lined with colorful covers, each one holding a new adventure. “Wow! So many books!” Micha exclaimed, running his fingers along the spines. The students took the books and read them. 3. After a while, he gathered them in a circle. “Let’s share our favorite parts,” he encouraged. Micha’s eyes sparkled. “I love the adventure! The boy in my book explores jungles and mountains.” Christian spread his arms like wings. “I wish I could fly too! Imagine soaring above the clouds.” “I want to grow my own magical garden,” Abigail said, clasping her hands together. “Wouldn’t it be amazing?” Peter sat up straight. “I’d love to be a brave prince, just like in my book.” Alvaro nudged Avisena. “The bear and the bird remind me of us. But Dirty Dog made a mess. “Oops, I spilled the juice!” laughed Dirty Dog. 5. By the barn, Zippy found Cheeky Chick and Putt-Putt Pig playing. “Cheeky Chick, what’s in the barn?” asked Zippy. “Bawk bawk! Let’s look!” said Cheeky Chick. Putt-Putt Pig rolled in the mud. “Squish, squish!” he said. 6. Under a tree, Zippy saw Silly Snake and Shy Sheepy. “Silly Snake, can you hiss?” asked Zippy. “Hisss!” said Silly Snake. Shy Sheepy hid behind a bush. “Baa…hello,” said Shy Sheepy quietly. 7. At the garden, Zippy met Viney Violet and Wriggly Worm. “Viney Violet, what are you growing?” asked Zippy. “Beautiful flowers!” said Viney Violet. Wriggly Worm wiggled out of the soil. “Wiggle wiggle!” he laughed. 8. Near the barn, Talkie Turkey and Rowdy Rooster were chatting. “Talkie Turkey, what’s the news?” asked Zippy. “Gobble gobble!” said Talkie Turkey. “Cock-a-doodle-doo!” crowed Rowdy Rooster. 9. At the end of the day, Zippy saw Yawning Yo-Yo and Baby Bear. “Time for bed,” said Yawning Yo-Yo, stretching. Baby Bear hugged Zippy goodnight. “Sweet dreams!” said Baby Bear.

Her home was filled with laughter and the playful barks of three dogs and the purrs of four cats. Every day was an adventure with her furry friends. Sadie loved her family, but sometimes she found it hard to have her parents living in two different houses. Even though it was tough, she knew they were still one big, loving family. Sadie often expressed her feelings through her colorful paintings and crafts. Her art was a way to show what was in her heart. Sadie is full of anxiety and gets worried about what people think and going into the big world out there. It was very scary for Sadie.
