Squeaky, with his kind heart, made many friends. He played with the ladybugs, the ants, and the caterpillars. Ch10: A Summer to Remember. Summer flew by with fun and adventure for Squeaky. Squeaky knew that his purpose was to ensure the continuation of his species. He and his mate laid their eggs on a safe branch; they had chosen a place where the eggs would be protected from predators and harsh weather.

The fire burns down the hay field, but Winston saves the day. The story should relay a message about feeling scared but having to be brave.
