Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy lived in a pond with many other animals. Timmy loved to swim, but he was very shy and scared of trying new things. One sunny day, Timmy saw some frogs hopping and playing near the pond. The frogs were jumping from one rock to another. It looked like so much fun! Timmy wanted to join them but felt too scared. A kind frog named Freddy saw Timmy watching. "Hello, Timmy," said Freddy. "Do you want to play with us?" "I do," said Timmy, "but I am scared. I have never jumped from rock to rock before." Freddy smiled and said, "It's okay to be scared. We can practice together. I will help you." Timmy felt a little better. He decided to try. Freddy showed Timmy how to jump from one rock to the next. Timmy was very careful and made a small jump. He wobbled a bit but landed safely. "Great job, Timmy!" cheered Freddy. "Now, let's try another jump." Timmy tried again. Each jump made him feel braver. Soon, Timmy was jumping from rock to rock just like the frogs. He was having so much fun! By the end of the day, Timmy felt very proud. He had tried something new and discovered it wasn't so scary after all. Timmy thanked Freddy for his help. From that day on, Timmy was no longer afraid to try new things. He learned that being brave means trying even when you feel scared. Lesson: Being brave means trying new things, even when you feel scared.

V Svetem pismu beremo, kaj se je zgodilo na enem od teh potovanj. 2 Ko je bil Jezus star dvanajst let, je prvič smel iti tudi on zraven. Skupaj s starši, Jožefom in Marijo, ter sosedi so se odpravili v Jeruzalem. Do tja so hodili tri dni. 3 Ko so prispeli v Jeruzalem, je bil Jezus prevzet od veselja, da je končno v hiši svojega Očeta. 4 Ko je bil čas za odhod domov, je Jezus ostal v templju, ne da bi njegovi starši to opazili. Marija in Jožef sta mislila, da je Jezus pri popotni druščini skupaj s svojimi prijatelji. 5 Jezus pa se je medtem v templju pogovarjal z učitelji postave. Učitelji so mu postavljali vprašanja in se čudili njegovi modrosti. Bili so presenečeni, kako ta deček pozna in razume vse, kar je zapisano v Svetem pismu! 6 Ko sta bila Jožef in Marija že ves dan na poti domov, sta proti večeru začela iskati Jezusa. Spraševala sta pri vseh sorodnikih in znancih, a nihče ni vedel, kje je Jezus. Medtem, ko so se druge družine odpravljale k počitku, sta se Jožef in Marija v velikih skrbeh podala nazaj proti Jeruzalemu. 7 Vso dolgo noč sta hodila in naslednje jutro, utrujena in neprespana, iskala Jezusa po mestu. Končno sta ga našla v templju in njegova mama mu je rekla: »OTROK, ZAKAJ SI NAMA TO STORIL? V VELIKIH SKRBEH SVA TE ISKALA?« 8 »KAKO DA STA ME ISKALA? MAR NISTA VEDELA, DA MORAM BITI V HIŠI SVOJEGA OČETA?« je odgovoril Jezus. 9 Potem se je Jezus vrnil z njima nazaj domov v Nazaret, saj je vedno poslušal svoje starše in jih ubogal. 10 Njegova mama Marija je vse, kar se je zgodilo, ohranila in premišljevala v svojem srcu. Jezus pa je rastel in bil vedno bolj moder in priljubljen pri Bogu in pri ljudeh.

Jade told about about a time he blamed someone else for something he had done. Jade picked his neighbors flowers and blamed it on his friend Vixen to his neighbor. 4. John Jr told Jade about the two commandments that says not to steal or not to lie. John Jr decided they would practice being more trustworthy by being straightforward, and not lying, cheating, or stealing. Jade share Bible verse Proverbs 12:22 "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." Jesus taught people that the truth will set them free from slavery to sin, self-rule, and self-justification. John Jr and Jade decided that it was very important to be truthful with God. Jesus felt honesty was a gift and loved to be around plainspoken and honest people. John Jr and Jade want to follow Jesus because he is the truth and speaks of the truth and love.

John Jr came across an envelope. Granny said they could open it. A map was in there. John Jr and Vasi studied it for a bit. 3. Granny explained it was a map of the Southside neighborhood. John Jr and Vasi wasted to go there bad, because the map showed a treasure hidden there. Granny took them to the area so John Jr and Vasi could explore. 4. John Jr and Vasiwalkaround for a few hours. They was about to give up, until they noticed an apple tree. The map showed the treasure near that. John Jr and Vasi studied the map a little more to figure out how it was position around that tree. 5. John Jr finds the spot and start digging. They get about 2 ft deep and see this hard plastic container. They get it out. 6. John Jr opens it up and finds a news paper from 1983. The headline was President Reagan created a day to honor Martin Luther King. They find some change that had 1983 imprinted on them. The was a tape of Michael Jackson's Thriller. 5. There was also a Care Bear with a heart on it. There was also some He-Man figurines. They find a box of Nerds candy. They wondered if the Nerds were safe to eat. 6. John Jr and Vasi takes the time capsule back to John Jr's Granny house. Everyone eats some supper. John Jr and Vasi go to their bedroom to play with the time capsule.
