Addie has just turned three and she has the power to talk to animals. A bumble bee takes her into the woods where she meets a one eyed poodle who is missing his strudel. She sets off to find the missing strudel. Along the way she meets animals. A is for Adeline Mae. Adeline Mae didn’t want to go to bed. She said so... but mom said, “No. You must go.” B is for bee. While in bed, she heard a noise by the window. She lifted up her head, and looked out. What did she see? A big ole bee! He motioned with his wing. “Hey follow me. I have something you must see.” Adeline Mae jumped out of bed and ran as fast as she could, but the bee was too fast and flew far, far ahead. “Slow down.” She said. The bee turned around and flew to her side. “We don’t have time for this slack. Jump on my back.” The bee buzzed. So why could she hear this big ole bee? Well, it was because today Addie Mae turned three, and only special little girls can talk to animals as soon as they turn three. C is for cottage. So Adeline Mae jumps on his back and they fly down the hill and into the woods, and he took her to where a little secret cottage stood. D is for dog. The cottage was covered with thousands of beautiful flowers. Hidden behind the flowers was a small gold door. They open the door and are greeted with a loud bark. Inside the secret cottage is a white fluffy poodle. “Did you bring me my strudel?” The poodle is Sir Henry, the famous one eyed dog. E is for Eagle. “I’m so sorry.” Buzzes the bee, but the Eagle took your Strudel.” He says to the poodle. “The Eagle took my strudel!” The poodle barks wildly. The bee waves his wings in the air to silence the poodle. “But don’t stress your noodle. You grouchy one eyed poodle. Because I have a plan. I brought you this girl.” “Step forward girl. What makes her so special?”

The handle sparkled like gold, and when she touched it, a soft voice whispered, “I’m a magic paintbrush. Whatever you paint will come to life!” Lora’s eyes widened in excitement. “Really? Let’s try!” she said. She ran outside to an empty field and painted a big, beautiful tree. As soon as she finished the last stroke, the tree appeared in front of her, tall and full of ripe red apples. “It works!” Lora shouted, jumping with joy. She painted a pond, and sparkling water filled the field. Then she painted a swing under the tree, and it appeared, swaying gently in the breeze. Soon, all the children from the village came to see Lora’s magical creations. She painted flowers, animals, and even a small playhouse for everyone to enjoy. But one day, a little boy said, “Lora, can you paint me a pair of wings? I want to fly!” Lora thought for a moment. “It’s fun to paint magical things, but we should also appreciate what we have.” Instead of painting wings, Lora painted a giant kite. The boy held the kite’s string, and together they ran through the field, laughing as the kite soared high into the sky. From that day on, Lora used her magic paintbrush to bring joy to everyone, while teaching them to cherish the simple, beautiful things around them. The End.

This story is about an 8 year old boy called Kwan who has behaviour issues and school and often gets into trouble for hitting other students. If he is accidentally pushed, he will push or hit back. If something happens that he doesn't like, he will react the same. Despite teachers trying to help him to understand that this is not appropriate behaviour, Kwan finally understands that he he wants to be accepted and have positive relationships with the other students he must keep his hands off others, and treat them with kindness and respect.

With rakes and plastic bags in hand, they begin sorting rubbish into the correct bins—one for paper, one for plastic, and one for food waste. As they work, funny moments unfold—Penny mistakes a floating object for a hat (but it’s just a rat!), leaves and papers fly everywhere, and a yoghurt cup makes a messy splat! Despite the laughs and a well-earned juice and cake break, they finish the job together. At the end, the park is clean and beautiful, and Granny reminds Penny that keeping the environment tidy is something they should do every year. The story ends with a simple lesson: always pick up trash and keep nature clean!

Once upon a time, over a thousand years ago,in the 11th Century, there lived a brave Viking named Leif Erickson. Leif loved the sea, just like his father before him. He had a big ship, and he was always looking for new places to explore. One day, Leif heard stories about a mysterious land far to the west, beyond the cold waters from where he lived. Excited and curious, he gathered his crew and set sail. They packed their ship with food and strong shields for the journey. The wind blew, and the waves were bigger than expected, they splashed against his ship as they sailed across the ocean. The stars guided their way. For many days and nights, they sailed, until one day, they saw land in the distance! What could this new place be? Leif and his crew sailed closer and found a land with tall trees, and grapes growing on vines. Leif was so happy to see such a beautiful place that he named it Vinland, which means "Land of Wine." The Vikings set up camp and built small houses to stay in. They spent the winter in Vinland, enjoying the fresh food and exploring the forests and fields. But as winter came to an end, Leif knew it was time to return home. He and his crew packed up their ship, and with one last look at the beautiful land, they set sail back home. Leif promised himself he would tell everyone about this amazing place he had discovered. When they returned home, Leif shared the story of Vinland with other Vikings. Even though he never returned to Vinland, he was proud to be the first European to find and explore it. And so, the tale of Leif Erickson and his journey across the Atlantic Ocean was told for many years. He showed everyone that with bravery, a strong ship, and a little bit of adventure, you could discover incredible new places, even ones you didn’t expect! And that is how the Vikings and Leif Erickson became the first Europeans to reach North America.
