She waited and waited. But nothing happened. "Why isn't it growing?" she asked Hoot, tapping her foot. "Patience, Tilly," Hoot said. "Good things take time." Page 6 One day, Tilly saw Benny the rabbit struggling to carry a heavy basket of carrots. "Oh, Benny!" she cried. "Let me help!" She helped Benny carry the carrots to his burrow. Page 7 When Tilly returned to her pot, she gasped. A tiny green sprout had peeked out of the soil! "It's growing!" she shouted. She had been so busy helping a friend, she hadn't noticed. Page 8 The sprout grew into a beautiful little plant with glowing flowers that looked like tiny stars. "What did you wish for, Tilly?" Hoot asked. Tilly thought for a moment.
