Quackers quacked excitedly as he gathered fresh bread, juicy apples, and a big jug of lemonade. Bao rolled around, collecting bamboo shoots, sweet honey, and a fluffy blanket. With their picnic basket in tow, they skipped and giggled their way to the park. The grass was lush and green, the flowers were blooming in vibrant colors, and the air was filled with the sound of birdsong. They found a perfect spot under a shady tree and spread out their blanket. Quackers poured the lemonade into cups, while Bao arranged the snacks. Just as they were about to dig in, they realized something was missing. 'Where's our picnic basket?' Bao asked, his eyes wide with worry. Quackers searched the ground frantically. 'It's gone! Who would have taken it?' They looked around and noticed a group of sly foxes lurking nearby. Quackers and Bao confronted the foxes, but they denied any wrongdoing. Undeterred, they decided to follow the foxes. They trailed them through a winding path and into a dark cave. There, in the center of the cave, was their missing picnic basket! The foxes had stolen it to have a feast of their own. Quackers and Bao were furious. They charged at the foxes, quacking and growling. The foxes were taken by surprise and quickly surrendered. With their picnic basket safely retrieved, Quackers and Bao rushed back to the park. They spread out their blanket once again and enjoyed their well-deserved feast. As they ate their delicious snacks and sipped on their lemonade, they couldn't help but laugh at their adventure. They had solved a mystery, outsmarted the foxes, and had a wonderful picnic in the beautiful park.

So Adeline Mae jumps on his back and they fly down the hill and into the woods, and he took her to where a little secret cottage stood. D is for dog. The cottage was covered with thousands of beautiful flowers. Hidden behind the flowers was a small gold door. They open the door and are greeted with a loud bark. Inside the secret cottage is a white fluffy poodle. “Did you bring me my strudel?” The poodle is Sir Henry, the famous one eyed dog. E is for Eagle. “I’m so sorry.” Buzzes the bee, but the Eagle took your Strudel.” He says to the poodle. “The Eagle took my strudel!” The poodle barks wildly. The bee waves his wings in the air to silence the poodle. “But don’t stress your noodle. You grouchy one eyed poodle. Because I have a plan. I brought you this girl.” “Step forward girl. What makes her so special?”

Together, they stood at the edge of the puddle. “On the count of three, let’s jump!” said Gus. “Okay!” Bud nodded. “One… Two… Three!” They both jumped into the muddy puddle. Splash! Mud flew everywhere! “Look at us!” Gus laughed. “We’re muddy buddies!” Just then, a little dog named Pup came over. He tilted his head and barked, “Woof! What are you doing?” “We’re having a muddy fun time!” Bud said, splashing more mud. Pup wagged his tail. “I want to join!” Gus and Bud laughed. “Okay, Pup! Jump in!” Pup jumped right into the puddle, sending mud flying. They all rolled and played until they were covered in mud from head to toe. After a while, they decided it was time to clean up. “Let’s go back to my house,” said Gus. “We can wash off in the tub!” When they got to Gus's house, his mom chuckled at the sight of the muddy friends. “Oh my! What happened to you three?” “We had the best fun in the puddle!” Gus exclaimed, grinning. His mom smiled and filled the tub with warm water. “Alright, muddy buddies, it’s bath time!” After their bath, Gus, Bud, and Pup sat together on the porch, drying off in the sun. “That was the best day ever!” Bud said. “Let’s do it again tomorrow!” Gus replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Little Fox begins down the walk, where he finds some acorns. "Hmm, maybe I can make some acorn soup!" He collects ten acorns and puts them in his wagon. Little Fox stops at Rabbit's house. Rabbit is getting ready for the long cold as well. Rabbit is harvesting and stacking many carrots. Little Fox thinks, " Maybe some carrots would be good in my soup." Little Fox gives Rabbit two acorns for one carrot. Little Fox heads on down the walk by Hedghog's hole. Hedgehog is busy collecting moss for his bed and twigs for his door. Little Fox helps Hedgehog gather his supplies. Hedgehog gives Little Fox 2 bundles of twigs for three acorns. Little Fox continues down the walk to find more things for the long cold. Little fox came upon Turtle fishing in the pond. " Wow, some fish would be tasty in my soup!" he exclaimed. Turtle gives Little Fox 3 small fish for 4 of his acorns. Little Fox continues down the walk to find more things for the long cold. Little Fox finds Porcupine stuck under a log. Little Fox lifts the log and helps Porcupine to get free. Porcupine gives little fox a quill for his help! Satisfied with his adventurous walk, Little Fox begins to head home. Little Fox's wagon is a little heavier than when he started. He pulls his wagon around Turtle's pond, over Hedgehog's hole, passes Rabbit's house, and finally reaches his den. Little Fox is tired from his work today, but he's not finished yet. Little Fox takes everything inside. He looks at his findings for the long cold and is happy. He has an acorn, crunchy carrots, and tasty fish for his soup! He has plenty of twigs to keep his fire warm and toasty and a new quill to knit a new tie and cap! Little Fox finishes eating his soup and climbs into bed for a well-deserved good night's rest.
