John Jr knew Jesus was showed selflessness. They knew that love Jrsus showed others sought nothing in return; he gave his time and energy freely to anyone who asked for it and plenty that didn't; he even humbled himself to the point of washing his friends' feet 2. John Jr and Jade thought of ways to be more selfless. They were going to try to Donate, Volunteer, Serve others: Compliment instead of criticize:, Empathize with others, and Practice active listening:. 3. John Jr and Jade reflected on the verse In Philippians 2:3-4 "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." The remembered Jesus teaching the principles of cultivating humility, putting love into action, serving others, actively listening, practicing empathy, giving freely, forgiving, praying for selflessness, and seeking accountability,. John Jr and Jade had a desire to be more like Jesus and started being more selfless in their lives.

He isn’t used to being watched, especially by a girl. “Come on, Aqma! You’re a man, don’t be shy,” he mutters to himself. He glances at the girl again, and to his surprise, she is watching him too. Aqma becomes even more distracted. Aqma gathers his courage and walks toward the girl. Rina, feeling shy and unsure, looks at him as he approaches. “Hi, my name is Aqma. What’s your name?” Aqma asks with a smile. The girl stays quiet for a moment, then softly replies, “Umm... Rina. My name is Rina.” “Hello, Rina! If you don’t mind, would you like to play football with me? Just for fun?” Aqma asks cheerfully. Rina shakes her head. “I’m sorry, Aqma. I can’t play football.” “Don’t worry! I’ll teach you!” Aqma insists. But Rina lowers her face and says quietly, “It’s not that... I can’t walk properly.” Aqma is confused a bit and then notices the walking stick behind her, “Oh," Aqma feels sorry and says softly, “I’m so sorry, Rina. I didn’t know...” Rina smiles a little. “It’s okay, really.” Suddenly, Aqma has an idea. “Hey, Rina! What if you become my coach?” “Me? How?” Rina asks, surprised. “You can help rate my skills and tell me how good my shots are! just like a real coach!” Aqma says excitedly. Page 1 Xiaoming and Xiaohua joined a special tour. Their destination was Lung Yeuk Tau, a place full of history and beautiful scenery. Page 2 They got on the bus, excitedly looking at the view outside. The tour guide told them that there is a mountain shaped like a dragon jumping! Page 3 When they arrived at Lung Yeuk Tau, Xiaoming and Xiaohua first visited the old village called Lo Wai. The tall walls and narrow gate made them feel curious. Page 4 The guide told them stories about Lo Wai. In the past, villagers built these defenses to protect against pirates, making them feel very safe. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple. Inside the temple were beautiful statues, and there were two ancient bronze bells used for praying for safety. Page 6 Xiaohua was especially interested in the stories about the Tin Hau Temple. She learned that villagers would take the statues out to parade during Tin Hau's birthday. Page 7 Finally, they visited the Songling Tang Kung Ancestral Hall. Xiaoming was amazed by the architecture and heard the touching story of Tang Songling. Page 8 At the end of the trip, Xiaoming and Xiaohua felt that this journey was very special. They hoped to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau one day to explore more stories!
