Once upon a time there was a little mouse named Tito, who lived in a flowery field near a forest. Tito was small, but he had a big heart and a special dream: he wanted to touch the moon! Every night he looked up at the sky and dreamed of reaching that shining light. One day, Tito decided to ask his friends in the forest for help. âHow can I reach the moon?â he asked the wise owl. âThe moon is far away, but if you believe, you will find a way!â she replied. Tito did not give up. He went to Leo the rabbit, who suggested: âJump as high as you can!â. Tito tried, but the moon was still far away. Then he met Bruno the bear. âUse a tall ladder!â, Bruno said laughing. Tito built a ladder out of twigs, but it wasnât enough. Sad, Tito lay down on the grass. Then he saw the reflection of the moon in a pond and understood: even if he couldn't touch the real moon, he could admire it every night and dream! From that day on, Tito understood that sometimes you don't need to reach the stars to be happy: you just need to look at them and never stop dreaming. đ And they all lived happily ever after. đđ

I am Luca. I am four years old, and I just started Kindy. It is exciting, but also a little bit scary. There are so many new thingsânew teachers, new friends, and a big new playground! Every morning, my grown-up walks me to the Kindy room. Some days, I feel happy. Other days, I feel nervous and want to stay longer. When I feel worried, my tummy feels funny, and I want to cry. Mrs. Kubicek showed me the Zones of Regulation chart. She told me feeling worried is the blue zone, and that it is okay. To feel better, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or give a big hug before saying, âSee you later!â When I miss my family, I remember that they love me always, and I will see them again soon when I get home. This helps me feel safe. When I get to the Kindy room, I put my bag, crunch and sip, and water bottle in their places. This helps me get ready for the day. Before Kindy starts, I can play with the trucks and puzzles. Sometimes, I do this with Mum or Dad before they say goodbye. That helps me feel braver. Recess and Lunch At recess, all the children go outside to eat and play. I feel nervous and stay near the wall. Mrs. Kubicek notices and says, âLuca, would you like to sit with Milani and Bodhi?â I nod. Milani and Bodhi smile and say, âCome sit with us!â That makes me feel good inside. I move into the green zoneâcalm and happy! Sometimes, I want to stay with Mrs. Kubicek at recess and lunch. But when she leaves, I feel sad. She reminds me that it is important to play with my friends. I take a deep breath, press my hug button, and find Milani and Bodhi. Once I start playing, I feel much better! At the end of the day, I pack my bag and sit on the mat. When I see my grown-up waiting, I run to give them a big hug. âHow was your day?â they ask.I smile and say, âI played with Milani and Bodhi.â Each day, I feel a little braver. If I feel nervous, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or ask for help. Kindy is full of adventures, and I am ready for them all!

**Winter Friendship** Winter came to the village, covering everything in white snow. Mimi the Cat and Didi the Duck were thrilled. "Letâs celebrate winter with Lulu!" said Mimi. "Yes!" Didi agreed. "We can play in the snow and drink warm soup together." They walked to Lulu the Frogâs house near the pond and knocked. "Lulu? Are you home?" Didi called. But no one answered. Mimi peeked inside. "Lulu isnât here," she said, confused. They searched behind the house, under a tree, and around the frozen pond. No sign of Lulu. "Where could she be?" asked Didi, shivering. "Do you think sheâs gone forever?" "I hope not," Mimi said sadly. "Lulu is our best friend." As they sat under a big tree feeling down, Mimi suddenly remembered. "Wait! Frogs hibernate in winter!" "What does that mean?" asked Didi. "It means Lulu isnât gone," Mimi explained. "Sheâs sleeping through the winter to stay safe from the cold." "Sheâs just sleeping?" Didiâs eyes widened. "Exactly," Mimi said. Cheering up, the friends decided to make something special for Lulu. They built a snowman outside her house and left a note: "We miss you, Lulu! See you in spring!" When spring arrived, Lulu woke up and stretched. She saw the melted snowman and the note. Smiling, she hopped to the pond, where Mimi and Didi were waiting. "Lulu!" they cheered, running to her. "Iâm so happy to see you!" Lulu said. "We missed you so much," said Didi. The three friends hugged, laughing. Mimi and Didi learned that even if a friend disappears for a while, it doesnât mean theyâre gone.
