Monkeys swung from trees and made him laugh. He liked a black wolf and a playful fox with a hare. Snakes had shiny scales. He also saw a rhinoceros and a polar bear. Daniel felt happy seeing all the animals. He remembered the beautiful colors of flowers at the zoo. Daniel had a great time and made memories at the zoo with his family.

The children want to start collecting plastic bottle tops to recycle with Lids4Kids. They meet a nice volunteer who will drive their lids to Canberra for them. Then they send a letter home to their families and ask them to collect plastic bottle tops from milk bottles, pop bottles and water bottles. The children enjoy washing the lids in warm soapy water with their family (and pet dog). Next week all the children bring in a bag of lids each. Together they group the lids into colour groups. The nice volunteer pick them up and takes them to Lids4Kids in Canberra. The lids are then turned into a rainbow colored park bench. The teacher surprises the children by buying the rainbow park bench for their playground.

William and the Super Pomeranian Once upon a time, there was a little boy named William. William had a head full of soft, brunette hair and the brightest smile. He had a fluffy beige Pomeranian named Sunny who loved to play. One sunny morning, William and Sunny went into the garden to explore. William found a shiny rock that sparkled in the sunlight. "Wow, look at this, Sunny!" he giggled, showing the rock to his furry friend. Sunny wagged his tail and gave a playful bark, "Woof!" As William played with the rock, something magical happened. He had a shiny cape and could fly! Just then, a gust of wind blew open the garden gate, and William's favorite toy, Mr. Bear, rolled into the street. "Oh no!" cried William. But Super Sunny was ready. With a swift swoop, he soared through the air and caught Mr. Bear just in time. He brought the toy back to William, who hugged Sunny tightly. "Thank you, Super Sunny!" said William, his eyes wide with wonder. The family came outside and cheered. "Hooray for Super Sunny!" they exclaimed. From that day on, Sunny knew he was always ready to help and protect his best friend, William. And every adventure they had together was full of magic and love. And so, William and Super Sunny lived happily ever after, discovering new wonders every day.
