Max, a golden retriever puppy with fur as soft as sunlight, woke up early on his first day at school. His tail wagged with excitement as his owner, Emma, fastened a bright blue collar around his neck. “You’re going to love it, Max!” she said, scratching behind his ears. The school was a lively place filled with barks, yips, and the occasional howl. Max’s ears perked up as he entered the classroom, where dogs of all shapes and sizes were playing. A tiny Chihuahua named Bella greeted him with a friendly sniff, while a big, fluffy Samoyed named Rocky wagged his tail so hard it knocked over a water bowl. The first lesson was “Sit and Stay.” Max watched as the teacher, a wise old Border Collie named Ace, demonstrated the command. Max tried his best, but his wiggly puppy energy made it hard to stay still. Bella was 5 years old today! Not only was she excited that it was her birthday, she was looking forward to starting school soon. "Happy Birthday Bella Boo!" shouted mom. She loved her new backpack and couldn't wait to take it to school and show her friends. She was so excited about it that she ended up playing with it at home and pretended to go on adventures carrying her backpack with her trusty sidekick Bear. Bella and her mom visited a homeless shelter later that day as it was tradition every year on her birthday. Her dad loved helping people and volunteering at the shelter. After he passed away, they tried to honor his memory on all their birthdays by handing out duffel bags filled goodies. Bella saw a Young mom and daughter. The mom was very grateful for the duffel bag. Hazel, her young daughter, was very shy and hid behind her mom and held tightly to her coat. Her face looked sad. Opie and Calvin are playing in the jungle. They search for bugs with sticks til Calvin sees that Opie found a bigger bug. He gets jealous and whacks Opie with his stick. Opie goes crying to their mama chimpanzee. She puts them in time out. Later in the day, while she is preparing their dinner, Opie spots some bananas that he wants to eat. He sneaks to get one while his mom isnt looking.

Sabrina is an only child that has always received what she asks her parents for. One day, she didn't want to share with her best friend, Tiana. At the time, Sabrina didn't think much of it because she was used to not sharing. Later that week, Sabrina visits Tiana's house and sees that she has multiple siblings. Two beds are split between the four of them. Sabrina realized Tiana shares everything with her family at home. Seeing this, Sabrina thought about when she didn't share with Tiana. Suddenly, she felt horrible. Sabrina realized she received so much from her parents and didn't have to share a room with anyone. She had all these nice things that Tiana didn't. From that day forward, Sabrina always made sure to share with others, but especially Tiana and her family. Seeing that Tiana's family had less than hers did, Sabrina understood that not everyone gets a chance to receive nice things like she does and that it's importance to allow others to feel special, thought of, and included.
