This book is about a family of four, a mom, a dad and a girl that is 9 and a boy that is 7. The story starts with the dad asking the kids if they remember the day that he got hurt at work. He is sitting on the couch and the children are sitting next to him. He then explains that he was hurt and ended up with a traumatic brain injury which is just a fancy way of saying his brain got hurt and needed time to heal again. He explains different symptoms to the children and that even though he gets mad and sad at times that it is not their fault. He loves them very much and needs them to be strong for their mom. Together they will all heal in time and he is sorry that it gets confusing at times. But he wants them to know he loves them no matter what happens.

One day, there were two animals named Kiki and Cici. They are best friends, to the point that Kiki's mother considers Cici as her own child. One day, Kiki's mother invited Kiki and Cici to plant green beans in the field behind their house.“Please, sow some of these sprouts in the pots that are already in our fields!” Their mother told them to plant the green beans in pots in the field. They planted beans with certainty, and when they were done, they returned to their homes. The next day, they returned to the field to see how the green beans they had planted yesterday were progressing. “Hahaha, your green beans don't have any progress to grow!” Cici laughed when she seeing Kiki’s plants because they don't have roots or leaves. Kiki was saddened and disappointed to hear this, and even more so when he saw that his green bean plants were not growing at all. Kiki replanted his green beans with new green beans, fertilized them, and watered them until the soil was moist enough. After a few days of this activity, Kiki's green beans now grew with long roots, and quite a lot of leaves. His mother was proud when she heard his story when he returned from the field.

In the township of Alexandra, there was a city of rats called RatAlex, led by a wise and clever chief rat named Babarat. Babarat was revered for his intelligence and shared stories of survival and adventures with young rats, teaching them important lessons about safety in the human township. He advised them to venture out at night and be cautious of cars. Among the young rats was an adventurous and curious rat named Gundwanyana. One day, driven by curiosity, he ventured out and got lost after being chased by children. He struggled to find his way back to RatAlex, experiencing fear and hunger. He narrowly escaped danger while trying to steal food from a shack and eventually found refuge at the Alexandra stadium. From there, he recalled the way back to RatAlex. On his return journey, Gundwanyana found food in a dustbin and, after eating, finally made his way back to RatAlex. He recounted his harrowing adventure to the other young rats, who admired his bravery and resilience.

Kofi, an 11 yr old boy lives in a remote African jungle village. He has poor vision. He usually doesn't play with other children due to his blurry vision. He is sad and lonely. One day a village elder tells him of a Lion who lives far away but can help kofi's vision. the boy makes the long trek The Lion doctor examines the boy's eyes. He gives him a pair of eyeglasses. the boy returns home wearing his new eyeglasses but takes a long time as he is distracted by all of the new things that he sees, flowers, insects, birds, clouds. Once home he sees his mother clearly for the first time and tells her that he has the prettiest mother in the world which makes her cry for joy. He now can play with his friends. then he tells other villagers of his good fortune with the doctor and many of them also visit the lion and areturn wearing glasses. there is joy and fun in the village.

Page 3: During class, the teacher took a chalk and drew a big circle on the floor Page 4: Mrs. Green took a piece of chalk and drew a big circle on the floor. “This is a special circle,” she said. “Let’s imagine it’s our personal space. Everyone has an invisible circle like this around them.” Page 5: She called one student, Sarah, to stand inside the circle. “Sarah is in her personal space. Now, if someone steps inside her circle without being asked, it feels too close,” Mrs. Green explained. “Let’s try to stay outside each other’s circles unless we are invited in.” Page 6: When it was Thomas’s turn, teacher asked him to stand inside the circle. His friends stayed outside, and they all smiled. Thomas could see that they were happy and comfortable talking from just the right distance. Page 7: “Good job, Thomas!” Mrs. Green said. “Remember, when we talk to our friends, we can give them some space by imagining their personal circle. That way, everyone feels happy.” Page 8: From that day on, Thomas practiced imagining the invisible circle when he talked to his friends. He still loved sharing stories about trains and dinosaurs, and now his friends were more comfortable than ever! Page 9: Thomas learned that personal space is important, and it made him an even better friend. And every time he saw a circle, it reminded him of the special game that helped him and his friends feel happy together. Page 10: And so, Thomas continued to grow, learn, and share, always remembering the magic of personal space!
