Benny’s eyes lit up. “It is!” But the tree was too tall for Benny, Mia, or Finn to climb. Just then, Ollie flapped his strong wings and flew up to the highest branch. Красная Шапочка не заподозрила ничего плохого. Она шла по самой длинной дороге, «по пути то и дело останавливалась, рвала цветы и собирала в букеты». Волк был очень голодным, «потому что три дня ничего не ел». Увидев беспомощную старушку, он тут же проглотил ее. Затем он улегся в бабушкину постель и стал дожидаться Красную Шапочку. Девочка не сразу догадалась, что перед ней Волк, а не бабушка. Она лишь подивилась большим рукам, глазам и зубам. Волк кинулся на Красную Шапочку и проглотил ее. По счастью, мимо проходили дровосеки. Они бросились к волку, распороли ему брюхо, и «оттуда вышла Красная Шапочка, а за ней и бабушка — обе целые и невредимые»
