Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.

What am I?” Siraj replied, “Footsteps.” Angry, the monster gave the final riddle: “What has roots no one sees, is taller than trees, and never grows?” Junaid shouted, “A mountain!” The monster roared. “You win the riddles, but now you must fight!” It charged, claws swiping. Junaid dodged and struck with his wooden sword, distracting it. Siraj loaded the shiny acorn into his slingshot and aimed for its glowing eye. The shot hit, and the acorn sprouted into a magical tree, binding the monster. “Fine!” it roared. “I’ll leave your village!” With the monster gone, the river flowed again, and the villagers celebrated their young heroes. From that day on, Siraj and Junaid were known as the bravest friends in the land.

Students enter their new classroom in Room 102 at Danforth Gardens Public School. There are 5 boys and one girl. They arrive on a school bus. They feel happy to be in a new school. They meet their new teachers Mrs.McIntosh and Ms.Natasha. The students learn about the classroom rules and meet their new classmates.

On the ice, PIN, a fluffy penguin, was born. He loves snow but once saw a shimmering puddle, curious, approached, saw his reflection, scared at first, then realized it's him. He joyfully splashed in it. Other penguin chicks joined. Realizing the puddle's too small, they sought a bigger one. Seeing adult penguins swim, Pin asked his parents to teach him. You are so brave!” Arion smiled. “I just used my big heart!” From that day on, Arion knew that being brave didn’t mean being big. It meant helping friends, no matter what. Noah finds a working space shuttle in his backyard. It's just big enough to fit him and his trusty side kick, Leo the gray golden-doodle. They climb in and the door closes. Leo accidentally steps on a big red button which turns the spacecraft on. They both look at each other in surprise. The spacecraft fizzles and pops and blasts off into space. Noah and Leo see earth, the moon, the stars and the sun from space. Noah and Leo start to miss their parents, so they pull the decent lever and the spaceship safely lands in the backyard. Noah and Leo climb out and hug each other, grateful to be back home.

1. John Jr's Granny had been getting messages from Jesus. Granny said "Jesus was going to Isreal in the near future." Granny claimed that Jesus was also offended over "thought and prayer" reading implanantable devices. John Jr wanted to learn more about Jesus. 2. Granny explained, Jesus was the son of God and that he had died for the sins of humanity. Jesus was born to two ordinary Jewish people called Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem. From age 12 to 30, Jesus worked in Nazareth as a carpenter. Once he was an adult, Jesus travelled all over the country teaching people about God and encouraging people to respect and love one another. He also performed miracles, healed sick people and told amazing stories about God. He had all together 13 different disciples that helped him in spreading the word of God. 3. John thought Jesus sounded tough and kind and wanted to live in a manner like Jesus. 4. Granny read the Bible to John and gave him an important bible verse to remember. John 3:16 says "“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Granny thinks that verse gives people the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ. Granny was also excited that she would eventually get to meet Jesus and God. Because there's something about it. I did a little book for John junior about. I don't have it yet. I don't think I have it yet.
