A poem about a child who honors her mother and father, loves her sister and brother,

Page 1 (The Argument đ ) Aiman, Zara, Irfan, and Amanda play together every evening. But today, they cannot agree on a game! "Letâs play football!" says Aiman. "No! Letâs ride our bikes!" says Irfan. "I want to read a book!" says Amanda. "Hide and seek is fun!" says Zara. They cross their arms. "No! My game is the best!" Page 2 (The Problem đĄ) They argue and argue. Nobody listens. Nobody plays. Page 3 (Realizing the Problem âł) Amanda looks at the sky. "Oh no! The sun is going down!" Aiman groans. "We waste time!" Irfan sighs. "Now we have no time to play!" Zara shakes her head. "This always happens..." Page 4 (The Solution đ€) "Wait!" says Amanda. "Letâs listen to each other." Each friend says why they like their game: "Football is fun because I love to run!" says Aiman. "Cycling is fun because we go fast!" says Irfan. "Reading is fun because I love stories!" says Amanda. "Hide and seek is fun because I love to surprise my friends!" says Zara. "Letâs take turns!" says Irfan. "Yes! One day football, one day cycling!" says Amanda. "And NO MORE FIGHTING!" says Zara. Page 5 (Playing Together đ) "Quick! Five minutes left! Letâs play tag!" says Aiman. They laugh and run. They have fun together. Page 6 (Final Message đĄ) "Playing together is fun! Fighting is not!" "When we have a problem, we listen, we take turns, and we play happily!"

It was a crisp October day, I woke up to the other dogs whining as the shelter workers let us all out of our kennels. Yes! Freedom! I ran so fast to the playroom to play with my friends! Today was going to be a big day - I can feel it! I played for hours and hours, until I had to have a nap. After lunch I saw two humans walk in and sit on the floor. Everyone crowded around them, jumping on them. Get yourself together guys I thought. I quietly walked over and sat by the mans huge feet. I knew the drill, people visited us all the time and had a few cuddles. As I sat watching the commotion of Simba getting silly all over this ladies lap. I met eyes with the lady human, she immediately picked me up. My legs were dangling and I thought jeez lady I just had breakfast. I stared into her and she stared back, she said "its you, your the one." I said to myself ok lady, do you have food or a ball? The lady stood up and talked with a shelter worker, she came back and said "I'm going to be your new Mom" and I thought "Mom?." She said she would be back, she came back with a new collar and name tag with the name "Koda."

Now, if someone steps inside her circle without being asked, it feels too close,â Mrs. Green explained. âLetâs try to stay outside each otherâs circles unless we are invited in.â Page 6: When it was Thomasâs turn, teacher asked him to stand inside the circle. His friends stayed outside, and they all smiled. Thomas could see that they were happy and comfortable talking from just the right distance. Page 7: âGood job, Thomas!â Mrs. Green said. âRemember, when we talk to our friends, we can give them some space by imagining their personal circle. That way, everyone feels happy.â Page 8: From that day on, Thomas practiced imagining the invisible circle when he talked to his friends. He still loved sharing stories about trains and dinosaurs, and now his friends were more comfortable than ever! Page 9: Thomas learned that personal space is important, and it made him an even better friend. And every time he saw a circle, it reminded him of the special game that helped him and his friends feel happy together. In a quiet neighborhood park, Logan sat alone on a bench, watching the other kids run around and play. He felt a little lonely, wishing he had a friend to share the day with. The leaves rustled in the trees above, and the soft breeze made the swings creak ever so gently. Just then, a girl with curly brown hair and bright eyes walked up to Logan. She had a friendly smile, and her name was Arabella. She introduced herself, her voice cheerful and warm. "Hi! Iâm Arabella. Do you want to play?" Logan, surprised but happy, nodded. "Sure, I'm Logan," he said, smiling back. Arabella grabbed his hand and led him to the playground, where they took turns on the swings, raced each other to the jungle gym, and laughed until their sides hurt.
