DH chuckled. “Better than presents?” Ish grinned. “Giving is better!” Page 8: After the holidays, DH had an idea. “How ‘bout the rodeo?” Osh gasped. “Barrel racing!” Ish clapped. “Cowboys!” Page 9: At the rodeo, they met Mae. “Your outfits are so pretty!” Ish said. Mae beamed. “I sew them myself.” “Teach us?” Osh asked. Page 10: Mae showed them how to sew. “Snip, stitch, tada!” she said. Osh made a bag. Ish decorated a dress. Page 11: As the sun set, DH hugged XH. “We’re a family again,” he said. XH smiled. “And we have a town full of friends.” Page 12: The store stayed open, always giving. The boy sees a rocket being launched in the TV. He wants to make his own rocket. He looks around for cylindrical objects and his father's workshop and find some cylindrical cardboard box. He paints it using his crayons and paint brush. He creates a rainbow colored rocket. Next heat thinks about how to launch it. The experiments with throwing it up in the air, experiments catapulting it into the air, experiments with throwing it from the balcony, nothing works and he gets discouraged. He didn't remember his father saying PET BE POSITIVE, MAKE IT EASY AND TRY. So he reminds himself of all the different successful experiments he has done in the past like making a castle, making a wheelbarrow, making a fishing rod. He then thinks how he can make his project easy and gets to trying again. He then lands up with launching the rocket by using the air coming out of the air pump piston that his father uses to fill up his bike's tire

Max, a golden retriever puppy with fur as soft as sunlight, woke up early on his first day at school. His tail wagged with excitement as his owner, Emma, fastened a bright blue collar around his neck. “You’re going to love it, Max!” she said, scratching behind his ears. The school was a lively place filled with barks, yips, and the occasional howl. Max’s ears perked up as he entered the classroom, where dogs of all shapes and sizes were playing. A tiny Chihuahua named Bella greeted him with a friendly sniff, while a big, fluffy Samoyed named Rocky wagged his tail so hard it knocked over a water bowl. The first lesson was “Sit and Stay.” Max watched as the teacher, a wise old Border Collie named Ace, demonstrated the command. Max tried his best, but his wiggly puppy energy made it hard to stay still. Bella giggled, and even Ace gave him an encouraging nod. “You’ll get it, Max,” Ace said. “Just keep practicing.” At recess, Max explored the playground, chasing balls and making new friends. He even found a hidden stash of tennis balls under a bush, which made him the hero of the day. Rocky taught him how to dig, and Bella showed him how to weave through agility poles. Max’s tail never stopped wagging. By the end of the day, Max was exhausted but happy. Emma picked him up, and he proudly showed off his new “Sit and Stay” skills. “I’m so proud of you, Max!” she said, hugging him tightly. As they drove home, Max rested his head on Emma’s lap, dreaming of all the adventures he’d have at school tomorrow. His first day had been a success, and he couldn’t wait to learn more—and maybe find more tennis balls!

In a charming garden, Rosie the rabbit, Benny the bear and Daisy the deer found the most beautiful roses so patterned with beautiful petals. Each petal was pink, yellow, white, like gold. Rosie, with her soft paws, caressed the roses in the light breeze that blew them. Benny, with his big bear hug, shared warmth, making the roses shine brighter like diamonds. Daisy, with her elegant step, looked lovingly at each rose, which shone so beautifully on the slats. Together they created a symphony of friendship and blossoming love.
